José Luis Quesada is both a pianist and saxophonist. He comes from Linares in Jaen where he studied the saxophone at the Conservatoire of Linares. He moved to Granada some few years ago where he is presently residing.

He has worked with a number of bands from Andalusia, a few to mention: "Lato Quartet", "Eric Sanchez Quinteto", "Cubop", amongst others.

Presently, he is mainly focusing in his participation in the "Pancho Brañas" Band and is at the same time combining this work and that of his own projects as composer of symphonic like works for orchestras and chamber music.

He has studied with many great saxophone musicians, some to mention: Paul stocker and Manuel Mijan, amongst others.
